Job Description


In the role of Competence Center Gastronometro Coordinator, you will use your skills and learn with us to:

  • Manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Gastronomy Competence Centre – Gastronometro;
  • Own the administrative and operational aspects of the center, including event planning and execution, bar operation, facility and inventory management, Haccp compliance etc.
  • Collaborate closely with the culinary team and other departments for organizing events with/for clients, and/or METRO employees, both at the Competence Centre and outside;
  • Know and understand the importance of internal and external customers, facilitate good collaboration with all suppliers, show openness and demonstrate a high level of proactivity and hospitality in all interactions;
  • Organize daily tasks and responsibilities for the smooth running of the Centre, while meeting the expectations of the customer (internal and external) through professionalism and quality of service.

Qualifications


You can be our Competence Center Coordinator if you have:

  • Over 5 years of previous experience in hotels, restaurants; food & beverage service and operations is a plus;
  • Strong interest in working with HoReCa projects;
  • Customer-oriented skills and you are able to properly interact with customers and external partners on various occasions;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Proficiency in English;
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office;
  • Proactiveness in identifying issues and ownership to resolve them quickly and creatively, with good decision-making skills;
  • Good understanding of local HoReCa landscape, food and beverage concepts, new trends;
  • Experience in venue/ food and beverage outlets operations;
  • Proactive attitude and you are a great team player with an open and positive spirit;
  • Driving licence category B.
