KEY ACTIVITIES:

Assisting in the preparation and coordination of board and committee meetings, including creating talking points and ensuring follow-up on board decisions.

Acting as the secretary for board committees as needed.

Drafting accurate and comprehensive minutes for board and committee meetings.

Taking the lead in producing an internal governance newsletter.

Building and maintaining relationships with ESM members and their representatives.


Managing correspondence from governing bodies and responding to information requests from ESM members.


Conducting research to prepare briefing notes for senior management.

Providing support in organizing public events such as the ESM Annual Meeting and Shareholders' Day, along with other high-level meetings.


Assisting in updating the ESM's website.

Offering support for various initiatives and handling ad-hoc tasks within the CG&IP division.

KEY BACKGROUND:


  • Bachelor's or master's degree in European studies, Political science, Law, Business Administration, International Relations, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in corporate governance preferred.
  • Knowledge of financial institutions or public international institutions is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, with strong drafting skills.
