Sales Engineer Commercial Building Services (CBS) – Belgium


We are looking for a Sales Engineer to join our awesome CBS unit in Belgium to support Grundfos sales efforts in mainly French speaking areas (Wallonia and Luxembourg).


What is the job about?
In this role you will be responsible for the profitable growth in market share through the maintenance, monitoring and development of Grundfos products, services and customer base within the Commercial buildings segment.


Your main responsibilities:
In this role your main responsibilities will include (but not limited to) :

  • Developing and executing business development activities with selected accounts including promotional activities, budgeting, launch initiatives, brand positioning and new application areas
  • Identifying and developing a designated customer base with the potential to use Grundfos products and services
  • Assistance with the preparation of segment based budgets and plans relating to Key Accounts
  • Participating in market research and preparation of reports as required
  • Implementation of the company and segment based strategy
  • The use of SAP CRM to maintain customer interactions, opportunities and quotations
  • Ensuring that all reporting is accurate and within acceptable timing

Your background
We imagine that you have:

  • A Bachelor or Master degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Construction or similar
  • Most likely 3 years of relevant working experience in technical sales or business development
  • Knowledge of plans, processes, and activities within a construction environment is an asset
  • High communication skills and the ability to get people involved and lead processes
  • A good understanding of relevant systems, local laws and regulations within commercial building systems
  • French speaking with a good knowledge of Dutch and English (oral and written)
